For students preparing to advance social change in their professions. Readings will include the chronicles of social activists and authors such as Jane Addams, Zora Neale Hurston, Flannery O’Connor, among others. The subject stressed in the works in the connection between the idea of community and call of service. Prerequisites: English Composition I and English Composition II
