Description

This course includes first-degree equations, algebraic and geometric solutions of linear equations, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, ex- ponential expressions, algebraic fractions, and systems of equations. Application problems are presented to enhance the theory. Additional topics may include Euclidean geometry, basic logic, mathematics found in nature, and elementary statistics. This course is deigned to give students an appreciation for the beauty and order of mathematics, and to enhance their rational skills.
