Description

This course will address the question of how to under? stand contemporary issues in mental health, and contem? porary mental health theories consistent with the biblical, patristic witness of the Christian faith. The focus will be on understanding contemporary issues faced by parishes including, for example, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, addictions, anger, and domestic violence. Em? phasis will be placed on the role of the pastor in identi? fying mental health issues and ministering effectively in these situations.
