Description
Why do we behave as we do? What roles do biology, environmental influences, and unconscious processes play? What are personality disorders and what causes them? How can we achieve greater well-being? Emphasis will be given in this course to an integrated biopsychosocio-spiritual perspective that emphasizes the centrality of relationships in motivation, emotion, cognition, behavior, development, diagnosis, and treatment. Theory will be illustrated through case studies.
