Description

This seminar course explores selected dramatic and poetic works by William Shakepseare, and studies them with an eye to historical context, literary style and convention, theatrical performance, interpretive meaning, and moral significance. This iteration of the course will also include a unit of emphasis on the relationship between Shakespeare and Greece. Prerequisites English Composition I and II
