Description

The Honors Thesis, consisting of at least 50 pages (or 12,000 words) of research-based writing, constitutes the culmination of the Honors Program. Students will be afforded the opportunity to produce a high-caliber thesis that exemplifies strong command of the scholarship and methodologies in their respective fields and produce original work that contributes special and substantive insights on their chosen topic of study. Students will assemble an Honors Thesis Committee that will provide guidance and feedback on their work and, at the end of the course, students will defend their thesis before this committee.
