Description

Centering on the life and theology of St. John Chrysostom, this course explores Chrysostom's education, ministry, preaching, the activities, the issues of faith and society to which he responded, the political pressures under which he labored, and his lasting contributions. The course examines the fourth century church father's historical context, exegetical method, social ethic, and theological outlook.
